On November 7th at 11:02AM EST // 8:02 AM PST, the Sun will exactly conjunct the Moon at 15° degrees Scorpio. This New Moon will be closely aspecting dreamy Neptune and its two co-rulers.

Scorpio has been the star of the zodiac since October, being Mercury, Venus Retrograde, Jupiter and the Sun in this sign. During this intense period, we descended to the underworld, met our shadow and had our symbolic death. Now, just a week after the Witches New Year, the moon will be completely overshadowed marking the end of our journey through the darkness, thus making this a time to prepare for our ascension and our rebirth.

REVISING VENUS IN SCORPIO

Venus Retrograde was in the spotlight of October, where it was stationed retrograde in Scorpio since the 5th. This transit made us reassess our relationships in a non-superficial way, it was all about digging deep within and getting to the heart of the matter because of being in this sign. Past issues and open wounds were rising from the unconscious to the conscious self in order to introspect on them and heal them completely.

VENUS RX PREPARED US FOR A NEW BEGINNING

On October 26th, Venus made a conjunction with the Sun, marking the beginning of a new cycle of 584 days and shifting from Evening to Morning Star. Therefore, Venus Retrograde was preparing us for a new beginning in matters of relationships and self-esteem. Interestingly, this time it ended in Scorpio, the sign of death and rebirth

On the 31st, it changed to Libra, making it finally the time to find the light in the darkness we descended to. Venus’s past transit is relevant because it was in the same sign of this event, where Scorpio energy was all about death and releasement and in the New moon, about rebirth and renewal.

THE NEW MOON IN SCORPIO

This lunar phase is the end of this journey to the underworld, it’s the time to rise again after all of the shedding and processes of releasement. How we are going to be reborn on this new period depends on how we begin it.

ALIGNING WITH OUR SOUL’S PURPOSE

Thus, it’s a moment to introspect deeply on our true soul’s purpose to align energetically with it in order to manifest it. Furthermore, If Scorpio energy was vibrating before in the context of relationships; now it’s all about tapping into our personal power, our own desires and what awakens the fire within us.

The New Moon will be squaring its co-ruler Mars and this highlights that it’s not a time for immediate action and to set intentions out of the blank. A prior period of introspection and pause is needed. Also, considering that the Moon in Scorpio gives a very intense and passionate energy and it’s making a tense connection with the planet of our instinctual nature, it may either awaken some dormant desires or feelings of anger. Hence, disconnecting from toxic outside forces and connecting within will be ideal to enter the state of calmness needed for our personal rituals.

MOON ♏ TRINE NEPTUNE ℞ ♓

The Moon and the Sun will be trining Neptune in Pisces. The keyword that sparks from this harmonious connection is visualization. Neptune is the planet of illusion, dreams and the realms we cannot see. It co-rules Pisces, so here it’s at its home and this aspect makes it perfect to meditate deeply and begin visualizing that desire that aligns us with our true soul’s purpose.

MOON ♏ SEXTILE PLUTO ♑

The Scorpio Moon will be sextiling its other co-ruler Pluto, the planet of power and transformation. This talks about truly connecting with that resiliency that impulses us to rise again after this past period of darkness.

It’s all about tapping into our personal power and in order to do that, feelings of guilt, self-doubt and/or fear need to be released first. These three are one of the main that limits our expansion and that stops us from taking action on our goals.

TRANSFORMATION AWAITS

Therefore, this New Moon will make it a time to claim back the power, which is key for beginning our ascension and transforming into the optimized version we want to become.
